These are opportunities. And again, I don`t know when the irrationality is going to stop. I just know that the markets aren`t rational right now and it can stay that way for a while longer. But as long as we are not using leverage, as long as we are buying things we can afford and not overextending ourselves, it does not matter if the market goes against if in the long run we get the direction right.

And eventually, the short term losses, if the markets move against us, end up being long term gains, which I rather have. I rather have a short term loss and a long term gain than a short term gain but a long term loss.

Gold: A Lot Of Support Around 1,200

I think from a dollar price perspective, there is a lot of support around this 1200 level and even a bit below. So I think there is going to be a lot of buying down here. Usually you get a lot of bearishness when gold gets around the 1200 level.

The more you stimulate an economy with QE the more addicted it becomes to it. If you take it away, you get withdrawal and then the Fed comes right back with more.

Remember Janet Yellen said, "Its all data dependent." And if the economy rolls over, she is back in the QE business and the rate hikes are off the table.

Federal Reserve: What The Next Move Will Be

Interest rates have been too low for too long, that is a big problem. But unfortunately they are not going to be raised anytime soon and ultimately when interest rates do go up, its not because the Federal Reserve wants them to go up, but because they have no choice. But I think the next thing the Fed is going to do is to launch an even bigger round of QE then the one they are tapering off from. Because the U.S. Economy is not recovering, we are slipping back into recession. If the Fed does not know that, it will by the end of the year and it will have to reverse policy.
