Higher Crude Oil Prices Will Affect The Global Economy

I am bullish on oil anyway. I think the price of oil is going up regardless of what happens in Iraq. But to the extent that Iraqi production is disrupted by civil war, that is only going to be more bullish for the price of crude oil. And it is going to affect the global economy because its going to be more expensive and that`s going to be a negative.

Bitcoin: It`s Not Going To Work

I do not think that this experiment is going to work any better than the fiat experiment. We will see, the market will tell. Because I think there is going to be lots of others digital currencies, there already are. and I think eventually there will be a digital currency backed by gold. I think when you have a digital currency backed by something that is better than a digital currency backed by nothing.

The British Pound (GBP) Is Breaking Out

The British Pound is at a 6 year high high. The U.S. Dollar is hitting a 6 year low against the pound.

But why is the British Pound now breaking out? Because they are talking about raising rates and talking about not doing more QE. And they did at least a modest  amount of austerity, it did do some cutting. Not as much as they should have, but at least they did some. We didm`t do any. We kept on stimulating.

And I remember guys like Paul Krugman being critical of the United Kingdom, saying, "they are doing it wrong". Well, the market is voting that they are doing it right.

Why Jobs Are Declining In America

Jobs are declining because the Fed is flooding Wall Street and the government with cheap money and there is no capital flowing to Main Street.
